Hello! I am incredibly excited to be joining the Fireside community as an AIM para! I’ve spent the last 7 years of my career in education as a classroom teacher in Thornton and Denver. During my time in the classroom I taught 2nd, 5th and 6th grade. I attended Salisbury University in Maryland where I received my degree in Elementary Education and played lacrosse. I received my masters degree in Educational Equity/Culturally Diversity (ESL)  from CU-Boulder. I grew up in Upstate New York, but have lived in Colorado for 10 years. In June, my wife, Katelyn and I welcomed our first child, a baby boy named Harrison.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching lacrosse, running, biking and doing all things Colorado! This summer, I began doing triathlons and recently completed the Ironman 70.3 in Boulder.

My passion is building long lasting, trusting relationships with kids so that they always feel like they have a champion by their side every step of the way. I can’t wait to put my passion into practice at Fireside!
