"To teach... is to touch a life forever."
Brief biography: I was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and taught a lot of environmental education and outdoor skills in my early career. I received my B.S in Botany from Miami of Ohio and my Teaching Certificate and Masters from C.U. Boulder. I have taught first and second grade for most of my career.
I am a rare Colorado native and I feel lucky to live in this beautiful state! I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder and I have my Masters in Education for Elementary Reading and Math. I have taught both Kindergarten and First Grade since 2003, and have been proudly working at Fireside since 2014. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children, traveling, reading, biking and running!
