I have lived in Colorado since 1987, moving from St. Louis, MO. I began my teaching career in BVSD in 1993, and then moved to New Delhi, India in 2000, where my husband and I taught for four years. My high school aged son, my husband, and I love to spend time doing anything outdoors. Colorado is the perfect place for us!
I cannot be more excited to be joining the Fireside family! I spent the first 12 years of my teaching career at Bear Creek Elementary teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade. After a brief stint at a small health care company, I missed the teaching profession and taught 3rd at St. Mary’s Academy two years ago and 3rd at Dawson School last year.
I grew up in the Summit County area and love everything outdoors. During the winter months, you can find me skiing at A-Basin with my daughter or getting out in the backcountry. During the summer months, we love to camp, fish, and mountain bike. I live in Louisville with my wife, daughter Lucy (who is 10), and Winnie the Golden Retriever.

It has been a pleasure teaching at this amazing school for eight years-- I'm so looking forward to the next 8! I'm a Colorado native and a graduate of Fairview High School and Regis University. After graduating High School, I spent 5 years in the Air Force followed by nearly 2 decades in the service industry. I joined the teaching profession in 2010 and haven't looked back since. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy skiing with my wife Kate and my two sons, Grant and Max (both Fireside alum). I'm also a music and movie fanatic.
