The Fireside Elementary Library is located just off of the lobby. It is open school days and offers a variety of amenities for student use, including: 

  • A rich collection of fiction and nonfiction in a range of reading levels
  • Access to ebooks and audiobooks via the Single Sign On Portal (SSO)
  • Chromebooks
  • iPads
  • Maker Space
  • Learning zones ranging from the silent cave area to independent and group learning areas
  • Presentation and meeting space with projection and augmented audio
The Fireside Elementary Library is not just a place to house books, but a social and intellectual hub of the school.

Biography:

I'm one of those rare Colorado natives you hear about but rarely ever see! I was born and raised in Louisville and never saw much of a reason to leave this wonderful place! I received my B.A. from University of Northern Colorado and my M.A. from the University of Colorado. I have been teaching since 2010 and am constantly learning right along with my students. I am a firm believer in educating the whole child and love when those unplanned, teachable moments present themselves. When I'm not teaching, you will find me jet-setting to new places, trying out a new recipe, seeking out live music, or playing outside in our Colorado backyard.
